As we edge ever closer to finishing post-production on Liz Rosenfeld’s SURFACE TENSION series, we are eager to share a few beautiful production stills from the final film Die Neue Frau which we shot in the summertime.

Over the course of three months, the curatorial project Frame_Birmingham, will be releasing a tryptich of collages created by Liz Rosenfeld and nowMomentnow. These collages are a reenactment of German Dada artist Hannah Höch’s own photomontage work. The collages were made for the film HÖCH, the second part of Liz Rosenfeld’s Surface Tension film series.

It’s a bubbling hive of activity in the nowMomentnow studio with our SUPER sweet spanish students, Carmen Fortea and Paula Collado learning stop-frame animation techniques with Imogen Heath.
This short little animation was photographed on 35mm film, hand-developed in BW chemistry and ready to serve in the first 24 hours.
